What is a CSA?
CSA, or Community Supported Agiculture, is a seasonal commitment between local families and the farm.
With your purchase of a share in the seasons harvest, you support the farm financially. It gives the farmers the opportunity to buy seeds, till the soil, and cultivate the crops. It also enables the farm to compensate the farmers and farm laborers reasonably well. Most importantly, your share purchase keeps the farm economically viable.
In exchange for your share purchase, the farm grows, cultivates and carefully harvests a nice selection of seasonal produce, which we deliver to you at one of our seven pick-up sites in the Capital district.
